In an effort to support and help you maximize the success of CountdownBlast, and HD Word, on Tuesday and Wednesday, August 3rd & 4th, we are scheduled to provide Advanced Implementation Training Sessions for experienced teachers. There will be three different sessions on August 3rd running concurrently in the AM and three on August 4th running concurrently in the PM.

Who are they for? These trainings are designed for teachers who are actively teaching CountdownBlast, or HD Word, and want to explore the more nuanced, advanced usage of the programs and review the best practices for progress monitoring students.

What will you learn? At these fast-paced, activity-driven, and hands-on sessions you will:

  • Explore the advanced portions of the scope and sequence
  • Develop your skills at navigating the program teacher guides and online tools
  • Learn the most effective routines and procedures to implement our lessons with fidelity
  • Examine the tools used to monitor student progress and adjust instruction vital foundational reading skills in your students
  • Learn effective pacing and practice strategies for maximizing the transference of skills to authentic text
  • Discuss practical ways to differentiate
