This series focuses on the impact of oral language and the critical role of screening and remediation. Its goal is to enhance the expertise of coaches and literacy leaders by equipping them with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively observe and evaluate key aspects of language instruction. Participants will learn how to identify specific steps to improve oral language skills for all students.
This session focuses on defining Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), identifying data needs, and aligning support tiers. Its goal is to build leaders' and coaches' capacity to design and support student-centered systems. Participants will consider current barriers to MTSS implementation and learn about free, school-based solutions. Lastly, participants will reflect on current MTSS practices and plan next steps to optimize school resources.
