One-day of professional development $3,000 a day plus $750 travel

Professional development services may be used from the time of purchase through the school year and will expire on June 30th.

One Day On-Site Coaching and Support Options Include:

1. Lesson Modeling and Debrief Sessions

An Implementation Success Specialist from Really Great Reading will model lessons from Countdown, Blast, and/or HD Word with students from your school or district. Teachers and administrators have the opportunity to observe and focus on specific targets in pacing, routine, engagement, and utilization of resources. The session includes a debriefing period to address any questions and discuss observations.

Benefits: This format provides real-time demonstration of effective teaching practices, immediate feedback, and hands-on learning for teachers and administrators, ensuring they understand and can replicate successful strategies in their own classrooms.

2. Fidelity Checklist Training and Walkthrough

The administrative team and the Implementation Success Specialist schedule a virtual, one-hour, live training session to learn how to use the Really Great Reading fidelity checklist. Following the training, the ISS conducts a classroom walkthrough with school administrators, guiding them on how to effectively use the checklist. The session concludes with a debrief to discuss observations and plan next steps for support based on teacher and student needs.

Benefits: This format empowers school administrators with the tools and knowledge to consistently monitor and support the fidelity of curriculum implementation, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and ensuring that teaching practices align with program standards.

3. Comprehensive Coaching Cycle

A week-long training cycle that includes options for an Implementation Success Specialist to model lessons, observe teachers delivering Really Great Reading lessons, hold debrief meetings with teachers and administrators, and provide targeted professional development based on identified teacher needs. This intensive coaching cycle spans a minimum of four days.
